Pre-Selected Sets of CRMs
(Intended for Instrument Calibration)

Alloys listed in ARMI's Pre-Selected Calibration Sets are selected on the basis of comprehensive market studies to determine the most popular metal alloys used in North America.  Once these alloys are identified, specific chemistries are carefully screened from batch to batch to provide the best possible calibration curve characteristics for the entire group when used as a set.  This process allows for the use of "Type Standard" analytical procedures, as well as affording our users the benefit of good quantitative analyses because of the resulting calibration curve for a given matrix group.  The chemistries listed in our sets section of the catalog are typical and vary slightly from series to series.  Specific chemistries can be found in the respective sections of the catalog for individual CRMs.
